Late morning, Thursday, Starbucks at 15th and Fremont, I glance up at the next table and see an older gentleman feeding his dog some yogurty substance with the same spoon with which he, the older gentleman, was just eating that yogurt. It makes me happy, really happy, love is all around and all you need is love and goodness and sweetness are just about everywhere when you really look and see.
I waited a minute or two and rather sneakily snapped this picture:

A couple more minutes and I stepped a few steps over and told him I’d seen his kindness and it made me happy. He said to me, “She’s the best dog in the world.”
That’s enough. Right?
But there’s more. Late afternoon, time between the library and Trader Joe’s, I’m on one of what I’ve come to consider as my lazybones ambles through neighborhoods new to me when I come upon one of those presentation plastic/glass-faced boxes in which people display words of wisdom and sometimes political sentiments and most often poetry. This is what I saw:

Yeah. These right here, right now glimpses.
