showing up

I wrote this next line to begin the fourth paragraph in yesterday’s post – “My dead friends Bob and Doug and Billy are off playing cards somewhere and I’m eating more vegetables than ever.” Actually, it would be more accurate to say this line wrote me. While it’s true I am eating more vegetables than ever, I have no idea why my three long-gone best pals would be playing cards, never mind Billy lived 3000 miles away and never had the pleasure of meeting those two California cats. Let alone be mixed up in a game of whist.

And ditto for the appearance of the post’s title – “the bristol stomp.” This is the pure truth – I’m standing up, there’s no title and then there’s ‘the bristol stomp,’ and if there’s any time passing between no title and title, even a nano second, you could fool me.

It goes like that lots these days.
